Technical Analyst / Template Forms Developer

Seattle-based enterprise retail software company is seeking a positive, high energy, experienced, Technical Analyst who is proficient with enterprise applications, relational databases, and graphic design concepts to join our Client Services Team.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and capture application formatting specifications, business rules
  • Establish and capture data field mapping specifications
  • Design, construct and modify dynamically formatted sign and label templates using AccessVia Designer software for retail clients.
  • Translate Business Rules into logical expressions to accommodate data-driven formatting rules
  • Stage and modify sample data for development and testing purposes
  • Assist clients with installation and setup of application environments
  • Assist with migrating application changes into staging and production environments
  • Facilitate application training sessions with clients
  • Deliver remote and on-site professional services for clients
  • Collaborate with the AccessVia Product Development Team to specify and implement product enhancements

 

Qualifications/Success Factors

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in an IT environment working with enterprise applications
  • Proficiencies with relational database concepts including Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access DB platforms (Familiarity with Oracle, Informix or DB2 is a plus)
  • Experience with implementing and supporting SaaS environments
  • Enthusiastic, positive, with a strong sense of initiative and task ownership
  • Technical aptitude or willingness to learn new applications and technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact positively and effectively with internal and external clients and team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to capture/clarify detailed specifications
  • Availability to travel up to 25% percent of the time
  • Familiarity or willingness to quickly learn graphic design and digital publishing concepts
  • Retail store systems industry experience is ideal
  • Experience building data driven forms or reports with report writer tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, etc. is ideal

 

Compensation:

  • This is a full time, contract to hire position
  • Contract term is 3 months.  Hourly rate depends on experience
  • Full time position salary is TBD (depending on experience)
  • Full time position includes full benefits package, including Medical/Dental Insurance and 401K
