Template Development Services

Template development training and/or workshop is included in the services for new implementations. For clients planning to update or create new templates in conjunction with an upgrade, AccessVia provides the following template development services:

Template Production Workshop

An AccessVia Template Developer will work with client personnel at a client facility to train and build templates and template layers. During this workshop, AccessVia will evaluate and address any other client specific template related issues and provide consulting on ongoing template development and maintenance activities. The workshop also includes:

Two full days of training covering template authoring with AccessVia Designer
Up to two days assisting with the development and production of templates and layers
Consulting on proper use of graphics, images, and fonts for templates

Template Development Services

AccessVia offers template development services for clients needing assistance with template construction. During this program we can create and develop new templates or new layers for use on templates or modify existing templates or layers. We can also build business and presentation rules for templates. Our work can be integrated into your staging or production environments and includes testing.

Template Maintenance Services

AccessVia offers template development services on an ongoing basis for clients needing regular assistance with new template creation and modifications to existing templates. Clients may choose to have AccessVia manage and maintain their entire template portfolio or may choose to utilize AccessVia to supplement existing template developers when demand is high and client resources are limited or unavailable. Template maintenance services are useful when the demand for template changes vary through the year or when internal resources are strapped.

Template Graphic Design Workshop

The AccessVia Creative Services team can evaluate the current state of client signs and labels used in stores, brainstorm and collaborate with client visual merchandising and application owner teams to discuss graphical design options, industry best practices, and client branding, and deliver ideas and sample template concepts that suit the needs of the business.

Template Portfolio Consolidation Workshop

AccessVia provides services to help evaluate and consolidate template business rules and formatting rules into fewer shared objects on fewer templates through the use of template frames and layers, greatly reducing template maintenance activity. In this workshop AccessVia will:

Evaluate current business and presentation rules used in the template portfolio
Suggest ways to simplify and implement business rules and formatting logic
Provide recommendations for template portfolio consolidation
